American politician, lawyer, and voting rights activist.

Abrams served in the Georgia House of Representatives, 2007-2017 (minority leader 2011-2017). Stacey founded Fair Fight Action in 2018 to address voter suppression focusing on Georgia and Texas. Abrams was the democratic party nominee for Governor of Georgia in 2018 but lost to Brian Kemp in an election that was marred by voter suppression. Stacey was the first African American woman to deliver the response to the State of the Union Speech in 2019.
