American singer/songwriter, actress, businesswoman and humanitarian

Dolly, a truly American icon, has composed over 3,000 songs and has 11 Grammys and is in the Country Music Hall of Fame. Parton owns Dollywood Company which owns entertainment venues that have brought many jobs to economically depressed areas. The Dollywood Foundation supports literacy by sending books to underserved children in several countries. Parton’s Foundation has supported the American Red Cross, HIV/AIDS charities, and most recently gave 1 million to Vanderbilt University Medical Center to support COVID research.
